Mahogany in Chicago with Vogue
This past weekend I was back in Chicago celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of my favorite films, "Mahogany" at the @dusablemuseum with @mahoganyat50 . I lived in Chicago for about 8 years and somehow I forgot how much I missed this place. The people, the music, the style, the architecture, the food! Thank you Chicago and thank you @aoctaviusw and Vougue for capturing the moment with vision and sincerity. Special thanks to the @thegoodhoodwitch for bringing me back to this soulful city, I needed it.
So I brought a few Mahogany themed silk and cotton cyanotype scarves with me and not one made it back to Philly. Thank yall! Till next summer 🖤🖤🖤
