Art club with vaux big picture school

This past spring I was invited by Mural Arts Philadelphia to share a series of workshops with Vaux Big Picture school about the Sharswood/Blumburg neighborhoods of North Philadelphia. I invited my frequent collaborator Qiaira Riley to co lead these workshops as we explored themes of home and belonging. These neighborhoods have seen significant changes in the last few years and I wanted to hear how these changes had affected the students. We wrote a blog all about it.
